Green Cow Tripe Canned Dog Food - GOOD or BAD??? ...I bought it and gave a 1/2 teaspoon mixed in with their Merricks Winglin' As soon as I opened the can, TJ and Roxy were at my feet, waiting and waiting...I also bought a trial size bag of the Chicken flavor - Blue Buffalo and mixed some of that dry kibble in. THEY LOVE IT!!! I did the same this morning and again, THEY LOVED IT!!! I have been having a hard time getting them to eat (Merrick wet and dry), so I hope this continues... She is now on a diet that is working very well for her and the owner, with her holistic Vet recommendations, gives her some tripe twice a day with her meals. The dog went absolutely nuts over it and it seems to agree with her really well. If you want to add this to your dogs diet, I would say go for it just not too much especially to start. The boarding yorkie got about 1" cube equivalent in her food. Probably a 1/2 tsp blob is fine which is what you were saying you give them. | |
