| teething and not eating Hi. Layla has just started over the past week to loose her teeth. she has lost about 8 so far and doesn't have much interest in eating unless i hand feed it to her, a habit i am not crazing about forming. I'm especially worried because tomorrow she goes and gets spayed and from past exprience with other dogs they don't want to eat after that either. I read that someone used canned food to get their Yorkie to eat while teething, does anyone have thoughts on this? Also Layla had a terrible reaction to her rabbies shot last month...fever, sluggish.. not alert... i was wondering what are some common side affects to expect after she is Spayed. THanks so much. i'm so glad i found this site! Marci and Layla |

| I would definitely use something to suppliment her food. It is better for her to eat soft food than not at all. I can't recommend a food, but I am sure someone else can.

| Kona is a very picky eater, especially now that she is teething. I've been mixing a variety of foods into her dry food: Merrick's Puppy Plate (canned), Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Sould (canned), and plain yogurt. If she doesn't seem to eat most of it, I'll give her a little bit of Nutrical. Good luck!!

| I would possibly try mixing the dry food with a wet food... when ours seem less interested in eating I mix a small amount of wet Eukenub canned food with their dry food and then they are eating again and I stop with the wet. Ann |

| I got some great advice for Misha. Add warm water to her kibbles, it will expand the kibbles & make them soft. |
