| Not sure where to put this, hair mattes (sp) One of my yorkies shes 6 months today, she has 2 giant hair mattes on each side of her, they start at the begining of her leg and to about her mid-stomach. Is there anyway to get them out (weve considered shaving her but were not sure we want to do that). And is there anyway to prevent them cuz she dosent really like brushes

| Depending on how bad it is, you might need to trim it out. I keep Jazzie's "Under Carriage" trimmed really short. What I mean is her chest, belly, arm pits & inside of her back legs are kept really short, like 1/2" to 1". She has a full coat so you can't tell she's kept short underneath unless she rolls over.

| have she been wearing clothing? that will create mats. try putting just conditioner on a small spot and use your fingers to gently pull the hair apart. if it is not in real tight it should come out pretty easy. if it is in real tight ... you might have to clip. no need in making them suffer trying to get them out.

| No they dont wear clothing in my opinion its a little weird the only time they do wear clothing is when its cold outside to keep them a little warmer. And considering its summer they dont need it.

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | as the old saying goes "A stitch in time saves nine" to prevent matts you need to brush or comb her everyday and it will help if you buy a leave in conditioning detangler. best time to comb her is when she is sleeping on your lap. Alot of people do cut there yorkie REALLY short, but I prefer the long coat. |
