| How many puppy shots do they need? How many puppy shots does a puppy need? I've heard it's a series of four, it used to be three I thought. I wanted to check because when I bought my puppy she had already had two and I don't have the dates of them for my vet, I just got her another one recently. Then at 6 months I want to get her a rabies shot(both my puppy kindergarten trainer and a lady that raises yorkies told me to wait till she's six months rather than four because she's tiny). |

| I think it all depends on when they started their shots... my vet said something about have two shots after 10 weeks of age... so now I start my pups at a little over 7 weeks old... (instead of at 6 weeks old).... this way the next set is 3 weeks later ... then 3 weeks after that.... so they should only end up with 3 sets of shots. Hope this helps.
