kidney stones Does anyone here have any experience with kidney stones with their pet? I read online that surgery was an option but, medication can be used. I couldn't find the name of the medication used for kidney stones.

There's a special diet like gel in a can that dissolves bladder stones (probably a Science Diet product specially sold by vets), I don't know about kidney stones though. They say the taste is not great and it takes like 4 to 6 weeks.

Lacy's Mom, Thank you for the reply and info. I will check with my vet. I have a call into my vet but, may not receive a return call until Tuesday. BLowry, Thank for the reply and info. I hope we can use the medication and it works. My little girl is 12 years old and she has other medical problems. Surgery is really not an option at this point.
