| Won't eat unless you are home? This evening I headed out to meet some friends. Before I left, I made sure I gave Kona her dinner. When I got home I noticed that she hadn't eaten much, if any at all. But now that I'm home I hear her munching away. Does this happen to anyone else? |

| Yes, Mitzi does that too. I guess it's a dog thing since they are very social animals. |

| Our girls are the same way....they will not eat unless we are home with them. Our girls go to doggy day care at times and we sent treats to hold them over until dinner....99% of the time they will not eat the treats. Another thing we have noticed is that our girls will not go potty if we are not home.......they wait until we return and then make a dash outside......but if too much time passes .... we might find someone used the pee pads....but it is normally if we are gone more than 4/5 hours.

| Yep, mine won't eat unless I am home. They even take it one step further... they won't eat unless I am there with them in the room, if I leave the room, they won't eat.

| Mine are the same way. If I go out of town and can't take them with me then my Mom has to come babysit because they will not eat for a pet sitter even over a weekend! |

| Bridget is the same way. I leave kibble out all day while I'm at work in case she gets hungry, but she rarely touches it. She'll usually chow down around 9pm - my little night owl. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Yup, my furkids are the same way. Don't eat...dont' drink... don't even chew on their rawhides. Makes me feel bad when I am away to think they are sitting at home just waiting for me to arrive. Then when I do, it's kisses, kisses all over the place. You'd think I had abandoned them forever. It can be just a half hour and they are so excited. Ah, a dogs life!!!

| Mine do that, too. Hobbs used to not even eat until we sat down to eat dinner. I think he just "knew" that it was dinner time or something. I think they do this bc they probably sleep the whole time we're gone. |

| My dogs are the same way - wait until I get home before they'll eat the food I put out before I left. I won't say they do this 100% of the time - but definitely most of the time. Carol Jean |
