| When to switch food? Bachee has been on Natural Balance Ultra Premium dry food for several months. He still loves it. However, I have read on YT that is a good idea to switch foods once in a while. How many times a year should you switch and is switching to a different flavor of the same brand count or does it have to be a totally different brand? |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | They were probably referring to maybe switching flavors and not foods. If your dog is fine with what is being given I wouldn't suggest changing food. There is alway some stomach upset with a change and you might end up with a finicky dog. Is there a reason you want to change the food given. I am getting ready to change Lex's food but that is because I am getting ready to put him on an adult formula. So at the same time I am going to go from the Nutro Natural to either Chicken Soup or Merricks. I am making a change for what is a much better food nutrional wise.
