| Rubbing Face I have noticed that Chance is rubbing his face along the carpet and walls often. I see him doing it almost everyday. Could this be allergies? Looks like he is running with his face down on the carpet. Look like his snout area that he is rubbing. I seen him also do it on the walls. |

| Pippa does this all the time on the carpet but not on walls. I thought she was just trying to mess her hair up!! I will be interested to see if its anything else

| I am sure you looked... Is there any redness, sores, or any irritation? If so, you may want to have a vet check. Sometimes my girls do this just to get a "carpet self-scratching" when they think Mom is off duty!. I take it to mean that they aren't getting enough attention from me, lol! Good luck!

| Sadie rubs her snout with her hands. It's really cute, but I wonder what's going on with it.

| I just did a check on his snout and one side is red looking like it is inflamed. Wonder what that could be from? I'm gonna call the vet. |

| Yup, Roxy and TJ do it ALL the time. Carpets and couches and clothes basicly anything that is some sort of textile. Someone told me they are rubbing their scent onto the item???? |

| Someone once told me that they do it to get the smell of their house or living area back on them. That is probably why Lexie does it after you spray perfume, or why others do it after being outside or after a bath. It seems to make sense, but who really knows?! Hobbs rubs his face with his paws sometimes. It is super cute! |

| Brownie does it as soon as she jumps into bed with me, she rubs her face and messes up her hair every night, it sort of a ritual. It's so cute!!! I think it's a bedtime thing for her because as soon as she finishes, she gets comfortable and closes her eyes to sleep.

| Baby does this too right in the morning. We get up, go out to pee/poo, and then she goes into the living room and rubs her face on the carpet. I think she's trying to get the gunkies out of her eyes!

| Tinka does the same thing. I thought it was cause she didn't want her harness on but now I'm rethinking that one! They really are so funny sometimes... although not at 5 am like this morning.. omega |

| Lilly does this "carpet face rubbing dance" only after I give her a bath, or comb her hair. It really is cute to watch. I think it is because she is trying to get her scent or the house scent back on her. I wonder what makes Yorkies do this?? ~lizette |
