| is this normal? Chloe is my 14 week old 1 lb 2 ounce baby... but she has been this way for three weeks straight. she hasn't gained or lost even an ounce according to the vet's scale(she looks as if she may have gotten a little taller to me)... he wants to see if we can't get her to gain a little weight but says she doesn't feel underweight since she has a very small build. She is eating plenty, drinking plenty, very active, her stool is normal and she goes to the bathroom regularly. the only thing out of the normal is she had a upper respirtory infection that she is just getting over, but she ate and pottied fine during that too. has anyone had experience with this? the vet doesn't seem too concerned, just wants me to feed her more fattening food for a little while (wet puppy formula instead of dry). But could it be she is just getting ready for a growth spurt? Please anyone whos baby was a slow grower reassure me! |

| Bella was a slow grower as well. Every time I took her to the vet she either didn't gain anything, or just an ounce at a time. My vet never told me I should be concerned, or to change her diet. She was 8 weeks 1lb when I got her. Now she is 8 months 3lbs and doing great.
