| I just found a scab on Esme's head???? I just found a scab on the top of Esme's head. It's right in the center, where her hair parts. It's kind of pink. I just called the vet to make an appt because I am such a paranoid mommy, but they are closed already. What could it be??? An allergy? A bite?? Anyone else's baby have one?? Hopefully, I can get her into the vet on Monday.

| Your vet doesn't have an after-hours voicemail? Ours does, and they check it all the time and call you back asap if it's a true emergency.....which yours does not seem to be, and I wouldn't worry. Sully gets scabs from 1. playing with the cat and 2. scratching his head (his nails are sharp right now...I'm too scared to cut them myself.) I monitior his little bumps and scabs, though, but they don't seem to bother him a bit. It could be from allergies, too, it's that season and trust me, it (the pollen, mold? something?) is affecting me AND Sully, and my husband as well.
