| My baby was neutered today - help! I miss you guys! Bartholonew is already 11 months old and he was neutered today. What should I expect? Do you think now he will stop peeing in the house? How is the recovery?

| If he was marking the neuter might stop him from doing it. As far as the recovery My Chachi came home acting as if nothing had happened. I remember the Vet said he could only go outside to go to the bathroom and then come back in for 10 days. Also for 10 days I was supposed to keep him from jumping. Did your vet give you pain meds. Mine did for the first few days afterward

| Hm.. He is very quiet and asleep. The vet only gave him antibiotics. Did you mean that you did not take him outside for 10 days?

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | he can go outside only to go potty for the next 10 days. no running around like a wild man, no long walks, no jumping on the furniture or going up and down alot of stairs. this is only to prevent the stitches from poping. Some vets give pain meds for the first day or two, some don't. neuters are no big thing usually, and the incision is soooo small. make sure he gets his antibiotics every day and be sure to give him some extra lovings he'll be fine. |

| My Muprhy just was neutered about 12 days ago and he is fine now. The Vet sent him home with an antibotic and some pain killers. He was VERY sore I must say and wanted nothing to do but sleep for the first 48 hours. It was actualy nice to have him just laying there since he normally is jumping and running every where but I am happy to have him back to his normal self. I kept his activity limited the first few days but he had his own ideas and would not stop runnng and playing and he was still okay so i am sure your boy will be good too. Good luck with everything.
