| Bahamas Hi Guys, When I do get my Yorkie (I'm being hopeful ) will the hot weather be ok for it? I read that they like warm weather but in the middle of winter the Bahamas is warm, Summer is not even here yet & it's swealtering. |

| Oh you lucky girl - you live in the Bahamas!!!! I love it there - we come at least 2 times a year! Once on a cruise and than another we come on our inlaws boat. It is so relaxing - I love the water there! I think your little one would be okay as long as he is not outside primarily!!

| Oh.... I think that would be fine. As long as your baby lives indoors and is not left outside for long periods of time. I live in NY and it gets soooo cold her in the winter. I can't even think of letting my babies outside. They just look at me like.... So I don't let the poor things out! |

| It's really really hot here too in Charleston, SC - and I think having a yorkie is fine. I mean, he's indoors in the A/C most of the time anyways. And you can always groom 'em short.

| Yorkies are inside dogs anyway, so I am sure it will be fine. Plus yorkies LOVE to sunbathe, so your little one will have it made living in the Bahamas! Of course, it might be best for your little one to sunbathe indoors in front of a window...at least inside he/she will have air conditioning! |
