| advantage not working I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I use advantage on them once a month since its suppose to repel them for up to 4 weeks. It's working on My 2 cats, and 12 lb dog, but on my 6 lb dog.. I applied 1 mnth ago, 2 weeks later she was covered in fleas.. so the vet applied some more.. and now 2 weeks later.. I turned her over to look at her skin cause I do this regularly.. and she was covered. It doesn't even really take 2 weeks for it to stop working.. I see them just days later. I seen at least 20-30 fleas on her earlier. Any ideas on why it isn't working for her?

| She has fleas and the others don't? That is very weirdddddd:P With that said, i was use something like capstar to treat the already existing fleas...maybe even a dip? And then keep on advantage Sometimes monthly treatments work best to avoid than to treat already existing impestations...

| I heard a lot of the same stories about advantage. I used to use that until I learned more about it. Now I use Frontline Plus and it's great because it protects against fleas and ticks!

| My vet said there have been a lot of complaints about Advantics? Advantage? What ever it is called. I use frontline and have always been happy with the results. I'd wait a month after using the other to try it though. Some one said in another post to use dawn dish soap to bathe them in. You might give that a try. |

| Thats weird, never heard of that happening. Don't know what to tell you other than switching to k9advantix. I heard alot of complaints even about frontline and even frontlineplus. I can't figure out why they work good for some and bad for others. I use advantage, been using it for 7 years and have not had a single flea.
