| Worms? OMgoodness last night Keelie went Potty , when I was changing the potty pads I noticed the Poop had these little white (worms)?? In it?? What are these, She has been wormed I know a few times before I got her.. She just went to the vet for her first check up on Tuesday, but they didnt check for worms Or anything else?? Should I take her back??

| worms If they are FLAT worms....probably tapeworms. Haven't had any in my yorkies..but they have never set foot outside either.

| They are probably tape worms. Most of the time dogs get tape worms from fleas. Does your dog have fleas? Most de-worming meds don't work for tape worms. Your vet can give you a pill for tape worms to give your dog. |

| worms Tapes do not show in a stool check..and regular meds and heartworm meds do not kill or prevent them..they come from swallowing a flea at some point in her life...and if you do not actually see them in the stool they climb away and dry up..makes the stool look like they were bnever there..you an check her behind hair for dried segments like brown rice. |

| Follow up to Worms I took Keelie Back to another Vet.. They checked her stools and found Nothing???? How weird I know i saw something?? Anyway they gave her a Pill to take and anothe set of her baby shots, she weighs 3.026 lbs.. She has a Small Hernia, but they said they usually go away, and will check on it next month again.. So all is well with my baby..
