| Internet food purchases? Does anyone buy their dog food on the internet? We are mainly interested in Innova or Merrick dry products. Both of our sources for these foods in our area are a bit hit and miss, whether it be for lack of consistent availability or for letting bugs get in the food at the store, so we're wanting to try buying the food online instead. Any suggestions for websites to use? Thanks!

| I order my wet Merricks right from them as they offer free shipping. I receive it 2 days later from TX and I live in AZ. http://www.merrickpetcare.com/

| Do you know that Merricks charges about $6 to $10 more for a bag of dry food on their website than my local store does? I picked up a 5 lb bag of Turducken at the pet store for around $10 last week, and they want $17.54 for it online. We also bought a 15 lb bag of Cowboy Cookout for $23, and I see that they are charging $33.56 for it online. I wouldn't call that free shipping! Of course, my local store seems to supply pantry moths along with the dog food, so maybe the extra $10 a bag is worth it. Our little guys LOVE that food.

| Oh I agree but with the time, gas and many times the product not available at my petstore I gave up and order directly. No more frustration of not having the food..

| I have ordered Merrick's online and I have purchased it in the store. We only use their wet food. It is much cheaper to buy it at a store if there is one near you. I have not tried their dry food, so I know nothing about moths. |

| I order Merricks on www.petfooddirect.com. Sometimes they have deals on free shipping or like last months special, 6 cans of wet food with your purchase of the dry 5 lb. bag. Last month I bought 3 - 5lb bags of the dry and got 18 cans of wet and paid $44.00 total with shipping. You may want to check it out. Also, if you are a new customer you get a discount, it's either 5 or 10%. It's not much but it helps.

| Thanks, everyone! Has anyone who ordered the Merricks dry food directly from Merrick had any issues with moths or other bugs in the food? We haven't been able to determine if the moths came from the factory or from our store. The story we were told was that a machine in the factory was miscalibrated and that it was punching small holes in some of the bags, and therefore bugs could get in to them. We just don't know if the bugs got in at the factory or at the local store. Anyone out there order Innova online?

| I've ordered Merricks online too and had no problems. I also think it is bit high in price. I guess that is why there is no shipping charges? They were very helpful and I got my products within 2 days. |

| Ok - we just ordered some Innova from petfooddirect.com. We're returning some mothy Merrick's to the local store tonight, so we'll probably end up with some more Cowboy Cookout on top of the Innova. Our little guys like a variety. Thanks again for your help, everyone!
