Bruiser won't eat dog food Our 10-week-old puppy Yorkie "Bruiser" won't eat any dog food PERIOD. I've tried all the top (wet & dry) brands and he likes them (wet ones only) enough to try them once--and then never again. This last time, he went almost 48 hours without touching his bowl. I kept him going with a little Nutrical. I finally gave in after almost 2 days and gave him some small cut up chucks of beef. (BAD I know). He loved that of course. He's a tiny Yorkie--only 1.5 lbs. Will likely be only 3 lbs or so full grown. What can I do? thanks Sue

Try just steaming some chicken and feeding that to him. Chicken should be a safe food. Or perhaps "flavor" his wet or dry foods with some chicken broth... Good luck!

I gave Higgin's dry kibble a shake of parmesan cheese and he gobbled the kibble right up! Now he just eats the kibble......

I have a better idea that chicken broth. We tried chicken broth with our little one but it upset her little system so what we did was go buy some chicken flavored babyfood and it worked like a charm we just mixed it in with her dry food and she eats it great and the babyfood isnt bad on her little system.

Great idea stormchaser! Baby food! I hadn't thought or heard about that before. Good to know it works, too!
