I just switched Bailey from RC to Merrick Wet/Dry mix. He really enjoys it. I have a hard time finding Merrick's locally so I buy it online and they are having a huge sale. I just bought 15 lbs. of three different flavors of dry food and they each came with 6 cans free of wet so I got 18 cans total. My shipment arrived today.

When you buy online do you have to have a cc? I don't have a cc or paypal.

yes you have to have a debit card or CC. Some companies take electronic check but you have to go to their website to see what their payment options are.

It did give her a bit of loose bowel movements for a day or so but she is fine and it did not slow her down while she was going through it, I guess it just took her a while to switch.

Val,

I had my Golden on Eagle Pak but if you look at the lawn all you see are all these brown spots from where she pees. Do you have any problems like that from it?

Tiger's base food is Innova dry puppy food . . .but I mix it with Innova health bar, beef liver 100% preservative free and a teaspoon of yogurt or cottage cheese for breakfast . . .early dinner si Innova with Merrick wet dog food. He always looks forward to his meals and cleans his plate like it was never used! He just started the Merrick wet and really loves it.

Spike is on RC puppy. Gracie was on Nutro Natural Little bites and was getting fat. Switched to RC Yorkie- still fat. Nutro Natural Lite (dry)- only lost .5 lbs in a month and the vet wants her to lose 3. Now I'm doing Nutro Lite canned in the am and green beans mixed with a little dry at night. Seems to be working.

My pus are on puppy purina one. When I brought my boston home he was on Timberwolf an all natural brand that I loved...but I was afraid that I woudln't be able to find it easily if we ever moved so I went with the puppy purina once Tank came home. That's what the breeder had him on and they both seem to like it and are doing well with it.

We used to give our guys nutro and mix it with this yorkie food that I got from my vets, can't remember waht its called, but we now feed him "people food."

That started after I read this book called "Smart Than You Think"

Last night for dinner he had rice, mixed with steamed vegetables and pork. For breakfast/lunch today they will get eggs mixed with steamed veggies and rice.

Basically they eat what we eat.

Tiggerwit,
I guess I am pretty lucky, we only have rock in our backyard so I do not have to worry about the brown spots. Nelly was about a week switching to it, it made her poop a bit runny but now she is back to normal and loves it.

I've never heard of Royal Canin Yorkie Formula. Where do you buy it? I looked in Pet's Mart and Pet Co. with no luck.

I feed mine Merrick's wet food and I add boiled chicken breast or steak. We sometimes add cottage cheese to the mixture. She use to eat salmon too, but her stomach has become sensitive to it. She also has royal canine yorkie formula out all day too. We have tried everything imaginable for her and this seems to currently be working. She tries to eat anything human. She eats all kinds of veggies including carrots and asparagus. She loves pasta. People think she eats better than we do.

We've gone through so many foods with Zeke! He eats one variety for awhile and then will suddenly stop eating it. He either really likes variety or really likes the UPS man (who brings the food that we order online) ! What we're doing now is free feeding him Innova Puppy dry and in the morning/evening he gets 1/4 can of Innova Puppy wet. Innova wet/dry makes the perfect combo as it is very healthy AND we have a local supplier! Also, this combo has worked for over a month, far longer than any other combo we've come up with!

When I used to feed mine Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier formula, I found it at PetsMart or Petco. PetsMart was cheaper in my area so I usually got it there unless they were sold out. Both stores had an entire aisle that contained all of the Royal Canin types of food so you should definitely be able to find it at both of those stores.
