| Always pooping My baby Rylie is 10 weeks old now... i have her on Science Diet and she is free feeding/ starting a schedule... i was reading different posts that mention corn in the food, Science diet does contain corn is this a reason why she poops like 4-5 times a day and also can this have anything to do with her having dandruffy hair? Please please let me know so i can change it right away. |

| I am not sure about Science diet but I do know that corn has zero nutritional value, and is simply a filler in dog food. Georgie had pooped sometimes 5 times a day before I started him on California Natural (which doesn't contain corn) and The Honest Kitchen (which doesn't contain corn or any fillers really). He nows a regular little boy and does great with it, and also enjoys the food Oh and welcome to YT

| Nutro brand is supposed to be good for decreasing the quanity of poop. It seemed to work with my dogs.

| I was going to suggest Nutro too. You can get it at Petsmart too.

| Yeah, another vote for Nutro. My dogs free-feed and they only poop once or twice per day. I've seen a difference in their coats, too. I'm VERY happy with Nutro. Julie |

| Besides the corn, I think it is a puppy thing too. Gus has been eating high quality foods from day one but he pooped a lot as a puppy. Now (18 months) he poops once or twice a day. Do a search to read about the different foods people suggest here. I find there are about five maybe ten brands (I know there are more but the same brands come up a lot) that we all think are really good.
