| Do you brush your yorkies teeth? Just read that I should be brushing them DAILY, and I wondered...am I the only one who's not? Do you brush, how often, and what do you use?

| Yes, I do brush my tiger daily . . with a dog toothbrush and toothpaste. It is part of his evening regimen before going off to bed and he is used to it. |

| I would say do it! The breeder who had Daisy for 6 years before me did NOTHING for her teeth, and that is why Tuesday she has to have the majority of them removed because they are SOO bad the ones that remain I will brush as often as she'll let me!

| I brush Pixie's teeth every other day. I'm now using the Life for Teeth spray/gel that someone recommended on here every day too. Hopefully between that and the brushings we won't have any future dental problems... |

| Yes, I brush Snickers and Baxter's teeth a few times a week. I really should do more often, but it can be a struggle unless they're both tired and half-asleep. I use a small children's toothbrush and Pet Dental toothpaste. Makes their breath smell pleasant.

| Bridget gets her teeth brushed every night. I alternate between the finger brush with paste and the dental wipes. It's easiest to do it in the late evening when she's tuckered out and less wiggly. |

| Wow...it seems like I'm the only "lazy" mom on here... I've been brushing Aggie's teeth about once or twice per week. I SHOULD do it more often but she just hates having her teeth brushed. I have not been using the toothbrush either, just the "cap" that you can wear on your finger as a toothbrush. After seeing everyone's reply, I'll probably brush more often. |

| Dharma is five months now and I've been brushing her teeth since she was three months. My vet told me to do so; that way she started to get used to it while she still a baby. Yorkies's teeth tent to decay easier and faster then any other bredeer. I do brush her teeth every day. I do it after she've play a lot and become tired. Night time since to work better for us. Good Luck Dhama |

| I try to brush CoCo's teeth but he just get so wild when I go near his face. So I just kind of stopped after the first time. My boyfriend and I just got him treats or bones that 'freshens breath' and 'cleans teeth'. Is there a way I can calm him down?! |

| Okay...I need to start brushing Zoe's teeth more. I am with some of you guys...she is wriggly and just hates it. I'll give the late night thing a try. Any other suggestions as to how to make it a "happier" experience for her? |
