| question kinda weird I'm looking at a puppy to purchase she has a white stripe on her nose. What does it mean that her nose is not all black? She was born the first of November and weighed 3.2 lbs yesterday, how big do you thin she will be. thank you so much, I love reading all the advice on here, you guys do a wonderful public service to people with or wanting yorkies. | My brother has a dalmation who has a white bit on his nose which means that bit has no pigment.

| My best guess is that she will get to be at least 5 pounds maybe even 6 pounds. My mom's malteses (both papered purebreds) don't have the really black nose like they are suppose to. It's not a desired characteristic in Yorkies to not have a completely black nose, but I don't think there is any hidden health concerns. If she is like my mom's maltese it will probably become even more apparent with age. |

| Your baby is sweet with that pink freckle on her nose. I love Patti's explanation. There are a lot of differences in Yorkies' coloring and it usually has no effect on their health; only the decision to show or breed would be effected.. |
