| Spay Question - Incision & Behaviour Hello: Brady was spayed on Friday, she seems to be doing really well, however I have a couple questions. 1. The incision seems to be healing nicely, her stitches are internal so the area is a little puckered. Right now it looks like it's puckering even more as it's healing and the area is really hard...is this normal? The area isn't red and doesn't look irritated at all. 2. She is not acting like herself at all. She used to love to cuddle with us in bed and for the past two nights she has been up, restless, wanting to play, jumping off the bed and just staring at us and barking...she will not settle down..... Last night she was up from 12:30-3:30... ignoring her does not work, she is way too cute and knows exactly how to get what she wants... I'm hoping she'll go back to her old self soon....did anyone else's baby's behaviour change after getting spayed?? Thanks!!! |

| My two girls got spayed at the same time. Lola was sleeping a lot, but got back to normal prety quick. Lily...I thought had brain damage. She would be perfectly still, then jump in the air biting at nothing. I called the vet to see if it was possible my little lady lost some brain cells. They said that it is normal for the puppies to act a bit odd for a couple of days. Lily was odd for two weeks, but is back to her sweet self now. She is even more loving!
