| Fruits and Veggies as snacks I give my yorkie bite sized apple and carrot pieces as a snack every now and then. He loves it. I just wanted to know if feeding him this is nutritious for him or does it just clean his teeth? Also, can you feed a yorkie cheese? I am a new yorkie owner so I am not sure about alot of things. Thanks. |

| I give mine the carrots cut up in small pieces, green beans, peas, yogart and lots of things like that, as it is good for them. As far as cheese goes to much is not good for them but mine get it every once in a while. Now cottage cheese mine love and they get that as a treat. I also give cottage cheese to my pregnant and nursing dam's. Also the pups. |

YT Addict | Cottage cheese should be fine but I would stay away from the other types Processed cheese and such ,those will tend to cause constipation

| Yummy From time to time I give my Yorkies peas, carrots, and green beans. Bugaboo loves cheese, but he gets it very rarely.

| Mitzi LOVES carrots. She has even been known to pass over her steak to finish the carrots first!! lol! She also loves cauliflower, peas, apples and lately she has a thing for Mango. lol!! I haven't tried yogurt because I thought it was too close to milk, which gives the runny poop problem.

| Punkin loves fruits and veggies and she has them at each meal and for snacks. She especially loves broccoli, red peppers, carrots, plums and bananas. I've been terrified of trying cheeses as she had some home baked doggie cookies that had grated cheddar in them and they gave her some bathroom woes (as we like to call it). It's hard to tell for sure if it was the cheese or some other ingredient - but I don't want to take the chance. |

| most fruits and veggies are ok to give them, but since they are true carnivores, they don't particularly need the nutrients from those food sources.
