| Hi PixieE, I don't blame you for being concerned. Sometimes puppies can have reactions to their vaccinations. These can involve anything from a slight sluggishness to a full allergic reaction. I know Bo was a little "off" after his first shot but recovered by the next day. Is she drinking anything? I'd keep a close watch on her and make sure she doesn't start acting like she is choking (anaphylactic reaction). A call to the ER vet may be in order. I'll say a prayer for your little one. Keep us posted. Bo sends kisses!

| It can be. They sometimes get very icky after shots. It probably hurt and was scary, plus and she maybe uncomfortable for a couple days. Depending on what she got some are harder on them than others. I hope she feels better soon. If not, it never hurts to double check with your vet by phone. |

| I am not by any means a professional, but the 1st time Luigi had his shots at our vet, he had been acting weird all day too. Real lazy and wanted to sleep all day. Then later in that night, he began throwing up and was acting very disoriented. We called the vet, and we took him back asap. He had had a slight reaction to the shots. So he was givin another shot to counter act that one, and he was back to his old self (feisty and playful) within minutes!!! So he was antibiotics for the next few weeks!! But he was fine there after!!! I would call the vet and chack with them!!!! Pixie!!! Mandy & Luigi |

| Tia was tired and sluggish for the day after her shots. She kind of creeped around and shook the entire time at the vet (nerves, I'm told) She was back to herself in no time at all

| Dont want to worry you, I'm sure she'll be fine but this is what my document says regarding vaccinations. Possible side effects vs. Allergic reactions: A vaccine reaction is rare yet possible. Potential side effects include depression, muscle aches, stiffness, and mild fever. These are usually temporary and may last 24-48hrs. However if welts, facial swelling, vomiting, diarrhea, difficulty breathing, altered mental state, or generalized shaking occurs, this could be an allergic reaction and you should call your vet immediately or proceed to the nearest animal emergency facility. A small lump in the skin may be noticeable for several weeks after injections and usually clears without treatment. If the lump becomes painful, swollen, or hair loss occurs call vet. |
