| Merrick's Grammy's Pot Pie For those of you feeding your little ones the Merricks Grammy's Pot Pie I thought I would let you know the following: I bought the 8 can pack the other day and when I opened the 1st one I was very surprised as it did not have the same chicken pot pie gravy as the other cans I have been feeding the gang. I smelled to make sure it was okay and feed the gang but it really bothered me so I called their customer service line today. I was told that the formula is still the same but that they had changed the processing of the food. Because of the amount of phone calls they have received they have already gone back to the old methods and future cans of Grammy's Pot Pie will be just like chicken pot pie.

| Thank you for letting us know. Winston loves Merrick's food. We mix a spoon of wet with 3 spoons of dry. We also rotate the variety. |

| We've been out of the pot pie for a few weeks...the distributor changed in the area. Jolene has been eating Turducken instead but is getting bored. Has anyone fed the Smothered comfort from Merrick? It's new around here and was wondering if anyone had fed it yet and their reviews.

| My two have fallen in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE with the Merrick's wet food. I mix it with their Innova. So far I've given them Grammy's Pot Pie, Cowboy something or other with beef and the Wingaling. But be careful with the Wingaling. It has very small bones in it!! I discovered that yesterday and I was shocked. While the bones aren't huge, they are still bones nonetheless. |

| I to was surprised about the bone in the Wing a Dings and did not feed them to my gang. I still have mixed emotions about them but if you call their 800 664 7387 phone number they have a recording you can listen to about how they process the bones and how soft the bones are. You can also talk directly to a customer representative. I haven't made up my mind yet on this selection yet

| I just got my first cans of Merrick's dog food. I fed Lexi the Turkeydom (or whatever it is) and she LOVED it. I bought almost all the flavors to make the $15.00 order for free shipping. I did read on their site that the wingalings have real bones but customers sometimes removed them for their own comforts sake. The ingredient's look good but it's a rich food so I think I'll be mixing it with hard food for meals. Keep your opinions coming. I find them extremely helpful. |

| About the wingaling...I also saw the bones in it and didn't give Jolene anymore of it as I was freaked out about it. Afraid she'd choke. Went so far as to pick the chicken from the bone before serving it to her. Bought the Smothered Comfort and it too has bones only larger thigh bones. Called the company and they said it was safe to feed and then called the vet. He wanted me to "test" it to see how hard they were to beak. I used a spoon and they just fell to pieces with very little effort. Still haven't fed them to her, but what do you think??? He says it's safe.

| I've been looking for the buckaroo beef and can't find them. My local distributor is going to see if he can get some.

| After reading this post yesterday, I went to the local pet store & I bought a can of Wingaling???? I saw bones in it too! They are pressure cooked & melt when they chew on it. She went crazy for it. It smells sooooo good. I also bought a bag of Grandmas Pot Pie. She ate that too! We will see how long this one lasts. She is picky like her mommy! |
