| Rambo´s Operation We have decided it´s time for Rambo to be neutered and he will also have his microchip too. His vet appointment is next monday 28th of march im so worried about him.........the vet has already told us he won´t be able to eat or drink after 11pm the night b4, is this incase he vomits during the proceedure???? My Rambo is very hyperactive normally and very naughty nipping my hands if he wants something and bares his teeth a lot too. Also he barks an awful lot and i have noticed the local dogs (most of them toy dogs)all barking together a lot and like really high pitched yelps- are all of them on heat and having a chat about it? or planning a great escape to make puppies????? But have noticed it more in the last month or so! Does any of this behaviour happen when a male is in heat??? Does it change at all after the neutering? What happens after the op? im scared his stitches will open as he is so active even if you dnt throw a toy for him he is always jumping around looking for something-do they normally calm down a little??? the vet sed he will have muzzle for a week-cud he have meant a lampshade????maybe i got confused with the spanish translations........ please let me know all info Vikki and Rambo |

| He should be fine. It's standard procedure to have them not eat the night before. I think after the operation, you just have to make sure he doesn't gnaw off the stitches, and if appropriate, the vet may give him a headlamp thing. Yoda got away without one, he licked his stitches a lot, but he didn't do it any harm. |
