| Can't believe your dog isn't drinking water.....she would be dead if she weren't!!! She can go outside and be on a leash (harness) as soon as you want to take her out. Good luck! Carol Jean |

| When Baby was a baby I would put Nutrical on my finger and let her lick some off. Then I would dunk my finger (with Nutrical still on it) into water putting my finger lower and lower into the water until she was just drinking the water. When she realized she was just drinking the water, she would stop and I would pull my finger back to the top and go all over again. I'm sneaky!

| My little 4.8 lb. Rescue Yorkie Honey Bun ( named that because he is so sweet) for some reason is not drinking water either even though I take him right to the bowl and swirl the water around. When I adopted him in September, 2015, he had horrible teeth and only 4 left. The remaini teeth were pulled a couple of months later and he is feeling a lot better. Because he had no teeth, I had to use my magic bullet to grind up his dog food to a fine dry powder and would add a little water to it so he would eat it. But for some reason now he is not drinking water so what I do is add 6 ounces of water to his dry dog food as I read he is supposed to have one ounce of water per pound of body weight. That seems to be working out well and although it seems like a lot of water with not much dog food when I first mix it, it starts to solidify within a few minutes. He seems to enjoy eating it and whatever he doesn't eat, I saved for his meal at dinner time so he is sure to get all the water that he needs for the day. I even add some more water most of the time in the evening to make it a little more liquidy. |
