| advice about spay/neut I am going to take pups to vet this morning and am going to ask about getting both Ahia and Buckeye spayed and neutered. my question is those of you who have had 2 done at once.... how difficult was it to take care of 2 of them? Ahia will also have tooth extracted. both will be micro chipped also. she already has an appointment and was wondering if 2 at the same time would be better. or ... am i trying to take on too much at once?

| I only have one male but he was just a little tired for a day or so and then pretty much back to normal so I would think that with the two they will both probably just sleep a little more than usual. |

| I have and it really isn't a problem and in fact I think it is a good idea. The only problem you will have will be the week after surgery so they don't play to hard - if you did one at a time and one is still active I think that would be tougher. They will come home eat and drink a little (having their baby teeth pulled is not a problem) and then they will just about sleep through the night and be rearing to go in the morning. I don't know if your two play together but you will just have to make sure it is gentle play. I had all the same things done you are having done. Good Luck.

| I got my female and Male spayer/neutered at the same time. They also had teeth removed and were microchipped. I am glad I got them done at the same time. Lucky for me Chachi came home after the surgery acting as if nothing ever happened. Jewels was disoriented but was better by the next day. The only hard part was keeping them for being overactive for 10 days other than that I thought it was for the best.

So also chewd out her own stitches so that was a few trips to the vet. But she is well now. I think one at a time is enough well for me anyway. Best of luck. |
