| Dental work My little axel has to have six baby teeth pulled in a couple of weeks. I'm pretty nervous for him. I know that isn't the forest pup ever to have teeth pulled but is there anything I need to know our all my vet prior to his appointment? |

| He should be fine. Max had that many pulled when he was neutered and he ate kibble that night. Pulling baby teeth isn't that bad. My neighbor's small Yorkie had a mouth full of baby teeth pulled at 1 year of age. She had no problems. He might be groggy from the anesthesia and not have much of an appetite until the next day.

| Has he been neutered I would do that at the same time. All of my Yorkie's have had to have baby teeth pulled when they got spayed or neutered and everything was fine. Just make sure to get pre surgery blood work.

| Anesthesia is processed through the liver and kidneys so it checks those to make sure they are healthy and it checks their blood count and everything to make sure they are healthy enough for surgery. It is very important before any kind of surgical procedure.
