| Going to adult food soon Gidget is approaching her 1st birthday. She's on Eukanuba for small breed puppies right now. Any suggestions for a good adult food for her or should I stick with the Eukanuba for Yorkies Adult. I want her to have a good quality dry food and keep her on it from now on. |

| Happy almost 1st birthday to Gidget! I'm not a dog food expert. My boys have been eating Fromm Chicken a la Veg for about 6 years. They do well with it and like it. The company manufactures the food in their own plants and they have over a century of experience. Some dogs experience gas or loose stools with Fromm. There isn't a single food that works well for all dogs.

| We also fed Max & Sasha Eukanuba for small breed puppies. We switched to the Eukanuba Excel. The Eukanuba for yorkies has chicken by products where the Excel has none. We have had great results with it. No digestive issues, good little tootsie roll looking poops. Whatever you switch to make sure you do a gradual change or you may have problems. When we switched we went 75% old-25% new for a week then 50-50 for a week, then 25% old - 75% new for a week before finally switching over to all new. This gives their digestive tract a chance to become accustomed to the new food. Good luck!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I feed raw, but if you want an excellent kibble I'd go w/ Natures Logic Venison.
