| Vitamins Hi everyone, what brand of multi vitamin and joint (arthritis-preventing) vitamin would you recommend for a 1.5 year old yorkie? Thanks! |

| Nothing really prevents arthritis but joint supplements can help lube up the joints and help some. My orthopedic surgeon recommended dosoquin but after using it a long time I decided I wanted to check out glyco flex III.

| We use ark naturals, I think it is called grey muzzle, old dogs healthy joints? I feel like I might be repeating tag lines though, lol. We have been using it for a while, not super consistently but as a preventative- if we are going to give a reward I like the idea of it having a side benefit like for coat or dental health.

| If you don't mind me asking ...Was there any specific reason you wanted to switch from Dosoquin? (Like anything negative about it)? Do you think glyco flex is better? Thanks! |

| No I was just wanting to try it out. I'm probably going to go back to dosoquin because I think it might have worked better.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | For general vitamin supps, I'd use Natures Farmacy. As far as joints, the current studies show there is absolutely no proof that any of them are effective at all, unforch. Same thing on the human side. But if you want to give one, I'd go w/ Cosequin.
