| Yorkie still have baby teeth Good morning! I am a new yorkie owner and am in love with my spunky guy. He is 10 months and his name is chewy. I have noticed that he still has his baby canines and lower set along with his adult teeth. Is this normal? He loves to chew on a hard bone so hopefully they will just fall out?

| Did you have him neutered, if so they would have pulled the remaining baby teeth out at that time. If you are not going to neuter him I suggest you call your vet to see if they should be pulled out now or is it safe that you wait another month.

| A lot of puppies retain baby teeth you normally just have them removed when you get them fixed. I would not wait much longer to do that because it will mess up the alignment of their teeth and can cause food to get stuck in between and rot the good tooth. Generally at 10 months if they haven't fallen out they are not going to.

| They usually remove any baby teeth at this time. Good idea to get them out ASAP then.
