| Hills Prescription Diet Halo, I am new to this platform and absolutely love all the advice and tips from the other yorkie parents Kenzi's doctor gave her Hills I/d gastrointestinal tin food to eat as she has been having problems eating kibble and keeping it down. She LOVES the tin food gobbles it up and goes back to see if there is more in her bowl. I got her the Hills I/d gastrointestinal kibble and I fed her from my hand as she is not usually a big kibble eater and wanted to see if she eats it. Again she gobbled it up, I was so happy that after months I finally found a kibble that she likes and can tolerate. But my joy was short lived, woke up this morning at 4am to the sounds of her vomiting. Please help... |

| Spoke to her Vet now and he said that she is then allergic to the Maize that they use to bind the kibble. So now she is back on the tin food for 2 weeks and then we will change to hypo allergic kibble |

Although, I've never heard of an "allergy" causing throwing up hours later (not the way "allergies" work)...so the assumptive diagnosis doesn't really make sense to me at all. Dogs tend to vomit or regurgitate in the middle of the night from either an empty stomach or from GERD/reflux.
