Yorkie Talker | Yorkie dental Cleaning with Anesthesia Hello, It's been really hard to clean my Yorkie teeth, he doesn't like it one bit and gives me a hard time. I'm finally having a dental cleaning for him, since he has alot of tartar build up. I'm kinda of nervous cause he really need a deep dental cleaning with Anesthesia and i'm hope he comes out of it okay. He also has a baby tooth that needs to be pulled out. I wanted to see if anyone has had this procedure done to their yorkie teeth? if so, how was recovery? Thank you |

| Two of my boys had dentals a couple of weeks ago. They had to have some teeth pulled. They came home in the early evening and were sleepy but wanted to eat and were otherwise normal. I hope your dog does great!

| Usually there is no problem with dogs getting dentals. If your dog hasn't gotten bloodwork done recently, he should have that done a few days before the dental to make sure his body can filter out the anesthesia properly.

Yorkie Talker | Thank you all for your response. I hope they do great too, as for bloodwork, their appointment is this Thursday, however, they both had it done before we moved here to California 4 months ago. I'm praying that everything will be okay with them. |

| Lexie has had many dentals and extractions without a problem. The first time, she had a bit of low blood pressure, but ever since then what they've done is start the IV catheter early to give extra fluids. That took care of the problem. Oh, and they take her blood when she's under cuz it's so difficult to get it otherwise. Good luck, you shouldn't have any worries!

| For the yorkie mom using the leba 111. I just looked that up and read it can cause seizures and vomiting and diarrhea. Did your baby have any side effects? How big is your baby? I have a 5lb little girl and now I'm hesitant to buy this. Sorry I highjacked your post! Please don't be mad. Thanks. |
