| Ear infections My yorkie Nikki is almost 11 has never had an ear infection ,I also have a shihtzu who is 7 never had a ear infection and a Maltese who is 2 no ear infection . About a month and a half ago I switched from home cooked to Fromm and then Nikki got a ear infection and a week later the other two the vet said its not mites, this is the only thing I've changed with them. Has any one had this problem. Could it possibly be the dog food. |

| Yes, food can make a difference. Nothing wrong with Fromm, it's what my boys eat, but the change may have thrown off your dogs' systems. Changes in food can lead to yeast growth.

| I think it is a great food, which is why I feed it to my boys. But if your dogs have been eating homecooked meals for a long time, years?, the change may have produced a shock to their systems.
