| Stressful day Blossom was spayed today by laser surgery. She also had three baby teeth removed. I was so stressed but I just called and they said she's doing great and I can pick her up in a few hours. How do you Mommie's with two and three pound babies cope when your little ones have surgery? Oh and I took everyone's advise and scheduled her rabies shot for a later date. |

| Well the worst part is already passed so you can relax now. Is she home yet? Many of us have used newborn baby onesies instead of the E cones so they can be more comfortable and not lick the incision. Just put it on so the front (on a human baby) goes on the back of your fur baby. Then snap the crotch around the tail. Target and Wal Mart have some really affordable seasonal ones. They should have some cute Valentines ones right now.

| Yes she's home. She has been sleeping pretty much since she got home over 4 hours ago so she hasn't bothered her incision but the onesie is is a great idea. She don't have any external stitches but she isn't suppose to lick the cut either . I'll buy the onesie if it gets to be a problem and thanks for the suggestion. I can give her something to eat and drink at 9 which is just in a few minutes here but I think I'll just let her sleep another little while. |

| Let her sleep as long as she likes. Most aren't don't have much of an appetite after, and according to another thread, won't poop for about 2 days either. It's been a while for us, so I didn't remember that part.
