| Motion sickness Does anyone else's yorkie get sick in the vehicle? We've tried short rides and not eating before hand. Georgia still gets sick. Her mouth gets really wet then she vomits. We use a pet booster seat that goes on the console so she is right between my husband and I. She is just under 4 months old, born April 1st. We are going to visit my daughter, which is 4.5 hours away, and need something for her. Preferably all natural. We have no family here so she has to come with us. |

| Cody is adopted, he was 2.5 when I got him, I have to assume he wasn't in the car mush, the few times he was in the car (for vet visits) he would pant like crazy, his muzzle would be soaking wet, then he would vomit. I believed his car sickness was caused from the feel of the road bounce. I purchased a booster seat that is elevated about 8 inches OFF the seat where he would not feel any road motion. That was last June, this type of booster seat has worked out perfectly for him, no more car sickness, now he LOVES going bye-bye in the car. Maybe this console booster that sits on the car seat he can still feel the road motion, just guessing. here is what Cody's booster seat looks like, there is a strap that goes over the head rest, then gets strapped around the passenger seat. I purchased it at Pet Supplies it is called Tagalong Pet Booster Seat…large size holds up to 18 Lb dog. Basket dimensions: 16” W x 14”D x 8” H

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Ginger can help w/ motion sickness. I'd honestly get something from the vet, even if it's a medication...that's what meds are for, and they do work wonderfully for so many.
