| Pain after spaying Gracie got spayed today and everything went well. She's been home for about 4 hours and it seems like she's in pain. She is ok for a while but when she moves around or tries to walk she is whimpering. Is there anything we can do to ease the pain any? Our vet didn't say anything about pain so maybe you guys can help me out. |

| Oh, I am so glad surgery went well for Gracie, thanks for giving an update on her. Did your vet prescribe any pain killers for her? Did you contact the vet to explain that it seems the anesthesia is wearing off and she is hurting? Maybe he can help with that? Keep her warm and comfy - that might help some. Schatzie sends hugs Gracie's way.

| The vet didn't prescribe anything for pain. I haven't called the vet yet as I was not sure if this is normal. She's not really doing much just laying on our laps (we keep taking turns with her). It just seems like she is in pain when she tries to get up or walk. Most people say their babies are ok the next day so we are hopeful that everything will be much better tomorrow. It's just a little rough seeing them in pain. |
