| Water and lemons to repel mosquitoes? Has anyone sprayed this on their baby? I read that you boil the lemons in distilled water, and let seep for 4 hours...the longer, the better. Strain and pour into a mister bottle. This is supposed to repel mosquitoes.

| I haven't used lemons, but I have used citronella oil (on myself, not on a dog). It smells like lemon oil, and is extracted from lemon grass. It did a good job of repelling mosquitoes. If you try citronella on your dog, be sure to use a product that is made specifically for dogs. Citronella Oil & Dogs | Ruff Ideas |
