YorkieTalk Newbie! | Home cooking for my baby After a bout of colitis my vet recommend that I put my sweet Daisy on a bland home cooked diet. She is a VERY picky eater, I couldn't pay Her to eat any type of dog food. But now, she paces back and forth while I dish up her food. Due to her allerigies I have to chose her food very carefully. Right now I am cooking her chicken breast, sweet potatoes and broccoli! She loves it!! |

| If you don't have a recipe from a vet nutritionist and are using a supplement you could be doing a lot more harm to your dog then good.

| This is correct. The diet you're feeding to your dog is likely unbalanced for long term use. Check it balanceit.com or petdiets.com for safe recipes that will tell you how much to use of each food and appropriate supplements.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Ha Ha, I can just picture Mac doing the happy dance, it's so rewarding giving them food they love.

That's great you also got some recipes. Also, I wouldn't hesitate to try balanceit.com for them too - they're really great, and inexpensive too!

YorkieTalk Newbie! | This is what my vet recommend with her extremely sensitive digestive track and her extreme allergies! But thank you for the comment. |
