Puppy won't eat... Hello... I've just picked up my puppy this morning at 10.. The breeder told me that he had his breakfast already and for his next meals, soak the kibble with hot water and feed him.. I've tried to do that but he didnt eat (at noon). So then, at 3, I've tried to boil some chicken to get the broth for it.. mixed with his food, but he seemed to just eat the broth and is spitting back out his food.. I've tried again at 7 and same result.. What do I need to do? I have vet appointment tomorrow at 2pm for general check up, but I'm scared that he might get sick from just not eating.. I've even offered piece of boiled chicken but he won't eat either.. I was told that he was weaned already and he ate like a lil pig.. lol but could it be cuz he's bit stressed? he seemed to bond with me fairly quick as he was following me around as soon as we got back home, and was trying to cuddle with me the whole day.. Help please..

| How old is your puppy? Going to a new home can be very stressful. Are you leaving the food out so the pup can get to it? He needs to be confined to a small area so he can relax and get to his food and water. You might want to give him a little karo syrup and water or Nutri-cal if you have it.

He's currently 10 weeks old. He's been playing in and out of his play pen with his food and water accessible. But he's been mainly drinking sometimes and eating only the chicken broth and some kibble but he'd spit it right back out .. :/

My Zoey did that (still does sometimes). Depends on how hungry she is though. I'm assuming the breeder gave you (or told you) what kibbles he's on? With all the sudden changes, he's probably stressed as bjh said. I know you tried the chicken broth and boiled chicken... Maybe you'll have better luck with wet food? I do a mix of kibbles/wet for both my furbutts.

He finally had his breakfast This morning I'm feeding him what the vet gave him so far.. he does seem to like wet food better... but mostly the chicken broth.. he doesn't care for chicken or any other dried food though.. the breeder gave me natures diamon or diamond naturals. I can't really remember the name exactly lol but ty for your inputs! I was super worried... :/
