| I think He Ate A tiny piece of plastic??? My yorkie was playing with a Kong plastic thingy and I noticed him chewing on something. Then when I checked the Kong it was missing a teeny tiny small piece. I checked his mouth and saw it in there but could not get it out quick enough and I think he swallowed it. Do you think he'll just poop it out? Should I be concerned? By the way, I threw away the toy. |

| Thanks for your response. I'll keep an eye on him. He's a pain bc my prior Yorkie would not really play with toys or put many things in his mouth. But Turbo on the other hand breaks all his toys and seems to be a chewer. He is 1yr old and 2 mo. By the way, the plastic was very small like the size of a pin head (maybe a bit bigger) |

| That small of a size I would not worry. Nylabones say on their package that if they ingest a piece about the size of a grain of rice it will pass no problem. The Kongs are a similar material. If it were larger I would worry about a blockage, but the size of a pinhead is miniscule.

| I dont think you have anything to worry about....not only is that a tiny little piece of rubber, it is a "soft" rubber....not plastic like you have in a plastic fork or the hard shard type plastic like he would have gotten if he had chewed up a plastic pot.... |

| I know this will sound gross, but, make sure you check his poop to see if he passed it, you may have to smear the poop if the plastic was tiny.
