| keeping blood sugar level Our Yorkie is 7 years old, about year+ ago she started loosing weight and having morning seizures, sometimes once every 2 month sometimes once a week, always in the morning, always after throwing up, I try to hydrate her with periolyte, some food, etc. after vomiting.. Is there anything I could give her before bed time on regular bases to keep her blood sugar level stable? also, any ideas to get her to gain some weight and not to thrown up/vomit so much. Her diet right now: boiled chicken/pumping/green beans, on the daily bases in addition to high end quality dry food, 4- 5 feedings a day/smaller partitions . Thanks! |

| Your poor baby. Has the vet done blood tests to determine exactly what the problem is? Sounds like she might have liver problems.

| You really need to have a vet check this out. If blood sugar is dropping in an adult dog that generally means something very serious is going on as does weight loss.

| How do you know the seizures are due to low blood sugar? Has she been seen by a vet? What tests have been done? Any medications for the seizures?
