| Royal Canin Dog Food I was just wondering if anyone uses this Yorkshire Terrier specific food. My little one is only going on 3 months, but I was wondering if it was good for after 10 months...... http://www.caninehealthnutrition.com/yorkshire.htm |

| I used to use it. My dogs loved it but one of my dogs has allergies and it aggrivated his allergies so I had to switch. Its not one of the best foods but its not a bad food either.

| Well, I have been mixing it in my pups foods because I bought it and she doesn't like it. I try and mix it in so I can use it up. But she has been itching alot lately. I think I will just throw it away. I am sure it is good for some dogs. |

| I just bought a bag of the Puppy 33 Formula. http://www.caninehealthnutrition.com/minipuppy.htm She was on Science Diet, but not eating a lot.... http://www.hillspet.com/zSkin_2/prod...34374302025365 She ate more than I've seen her eat of the Puppy33, last night, but now I'm worried. I don't care about having to throw it out, or cost of a good food. I just want something that she will eat and is good for her..... |

I am now trying to wean them to Paul Newmans Natural Organic.....My dogs are itching a lot too and have very dry skin. If you are switching around foods you must be careful to slowly introduce the new one by mixing it a little at a time with the one the dog is used to in order to avoid digestive problems. Good luck.

| Yes, the little devil picks through her food to find the good stuff....Should I just wait and see if it makes her itch? Did the puppy 33 make them itch, or just the Yorkie blend? |

I did not notice the itching before with the puppy food but now they are all itching and the Yorkie #28 may have to take the blame ! I cannot be certain until I finish weaning them off it and see if they stop.

| There are alot of people who feed this food without any problems. I would just try it and see how it works for you. Like I said my dogs loved it and I havent found a food that they liked as much as it so far. One of my dogs has serious allergies though so I didnt want him eating anything with corn in it.

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | We used it for a while, but it made the girl itch and their skin was so dry so we took them off it!! We then used Nutro Lamb and Rice and it worked really good for their coats....now we are switching to a natural brand (Nature's Variety) to help them get more protein and better grains!!

| Are you using the Yorkie specific recipe, or just the RC dog food? |
