| Pooping Machine My puppy started out on royal canine for yorkshire terriers, I slowly switched him over to natures choice because its a bigger bad for the same price, both high end foods, but since the switch I swear he poops 5-6 times a day.... I don't have time to potty train a puppy who's pooping that much... half the time ill take him out and he won't poop but comes inside and poops.... HELP ME! any ideas? it stresses me out, he also has really bad gas like all the time, and he eats his poop if I don't watch him....

| I would be going back to RC...everything he is pooping out, is what he is not utilizing for nourishment. Has the consistency of the stool changed...more loose? He may not be tolerating something in the food....if he was doing well on the RC, I would look someplace else to save $$$$. If it aint broke, dont fix it. You are about to jump on that crazy merry-go-round, looking for a dog food that costs less, but has adverse effects on your pup. Gets confusing and frustrating, for both you and the pup....and next thing, he will get "picky" where he doesnt want to eat anything you give him! If he was eating the RC, he was tolerating it, dont monkey with it! Save money someplace else....grooming or grooming supplies, toys, beds, etc. How old is the puppy? If he is under 8 months old, he should be on the puppy kibble....when he hits 8 months old, switch him over to the plain Adult Mini RC....it does not cost as much as the breed specific line. Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | With constant pooping and gas, his system is clearly not agreeing with this food, so I'd get him off of it asap as GI problems are no fun and not comfy. I'd switch to something that has perhaps a different protein and carb source and/or if he wasn't having these issues on RC, then use a similar ingred food to that.
