| Question about Taste of The Wild for a new puppy I have a four year old, 5 lb. yorkie that has been on Taste of The Wild for over 3 years with no problems. He is doing great!! We just adopted a new puppy, Gibson, who is 2lbs. and about 10 weeks. He was on Science Diet Puppy small bites. I purchased this food because I didn't want to upset his stomach, but he is constantly trying to get Charlie's TOTW food. Their puppy food looks quite large to me and I am concerned about Gibby being able to chew it properly. He is eating his SD well, but I know it really isn't a premium food either. When can I switch him? Has anyone used the TOTW puppy and if so, how big is the kibble? We live in a small town so we chose TOTW after some trial and error with good quality foods that we could find readily. We can purchase it at our local Tractor Supply Co. I would love to eventually have them on the same food if possible, but I know that unlike Natural Balance, our previous food, there are different formulas in TOTW for puppy and adult dogs. Any information would be appreciated. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I waited 1-2 weeks before making any food changes for new babies. In the meantime, you could break up some of the current TOTW kibble you have and add a bit to the puppy's kibble until it's time to change, that wouldn't really hurt much if you just add a bit. I don't know about the size of the puppy TOTW.

| Every chance he gets, which isn't very often, he steals food from Charlie's bowl. Charlie even took 2 pieces to him yesterday. It was kind of comical. It's like he really didn't mind him having it, he'd just rather he not get it from his bowl. The other problem is that he is starting to turn his nose up at the Science Diet since he got a taste of the TOTW. I am going out of town tomorrow and there is a premium food shop there. Maybe they will have some advice. Thanks for yours. |

| I fed Blazer TOTW when I first brought him home. He, also, would try to steal my bigger dog's food. The kibble sizes were very similar and Blazer never had any issues. That's about all I can say on that, sorry!

| I feed TOTW. I have a 2 year old yorkie and when I brought my morkie home, I waited a week then started adding TOTW food to the puppy's food and she did fine. |
