| The only real issue I had with it was that it seemed to be too much protien for Winnie. She had soft bm's the entire time she was on it. The breeder weaned her to it...so that's what I had for her. The price even though it's a little higher wasn't a major concern since a small bag lasts her a while anyway...one thing I did notice was that she would frequently leave the life source bits on the floor. Sometimes she would eat them other times she wouldn't. |

| I have tried a few different dogs on Blue over the years and could never get them to eat the life source bits and they all had explosive diarrhea, never again. |

| I have been home cooking for a few months now but I did feed Blue Buffalo before when Chloe was a puppy and it wasn't any good. The food would end up in her poop undigested. I think Acana and Orijen are high quality brands, didn't like the Blue Buffalo at all.

| I have fed my girls BB white fish and sweet potato for years and they have been okay with this. I hate to switch because of Piccolo's pancreatitis 7 years ago and she does fine with this. However, I opened a new bag a few weeks ago and had nothing but trouble with the girls. (vomiting and poo problems) I decided to go buy a new bag from another store and all has stopped. Not sure if this is a coincidence or there is something wrong with the bag.

**Plus there is an ingredient in it which they aren't releasing which is causing dogs to get sick**

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | What do you mean "aren't releasing"...you mean there is an inged in the bag that is not listed on the bag? Or that something is making the dogs sick, and it's one specific ingred, which they're not disclosing? Glad I don't feed this!

Someone I know told me yesterday that a friend of hers took her dog to the Vet because he was sick, and the Vet told her "to immediately take the dog off the Blue Buffalo brand. There is an ingredient that the company is not releasing to the public of which is making dogs sick."

| My Yorkie was using BB puppy and did fine with it. Then I got my Shih Tzu and started him on it and it was horrible. He had really soft stool with lots of mucus and the gas was horrendous. I'm talking 10-20 times a day I would smell his horrible gas. I had to switch to something else and now he is fine. |

| If your home cooking you need to be using a recipe from a vet nutritionist and a supplement or you could be doing more harm then good.
