Senior Yorkie Talker | Maybe you could try a different food for weight loss, more exercise, I don't know how old your dog is but if it's not a pup these two things in my opinion would help

| A little less food, green beans for snacks, more exercise. You could always ask your vet and they could also tell the weight they should be at.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | After a trick training class, Joey gained an extra pound and the vet suggested I cut his food by 1/3 and and about 5 thawed frozen green beans. The beans act by filling them up. Joey lost about 2 ounces a week until he was at his healthy weight. Also, walks and playing fetch will help. No unhealthy treats at all, as Lovetodream says green beans are fine, and most dogs really love them.

| I think extra exercise is important, as well as cutting down on portions & treats. As mentioned, green beans are low cal & very filling.
