| small size canned food any suggestions? It has to be carrageenan free and made in the USA. I do not want it to have garlic powder or sugar in it. |

| I'd check out Nature's Variety Instinct and Halo...those are the only two that I can think of that meet your criteria and come in small cans. Good luck finding something that works...let us know if you come across other options...I know others have similar preferences when looking for a good quality canned foods...those options can be trickier to find especially in the small cans. |

| The Nature's Variety has garlic powder in it. I went back and rechecked Halo, there are a few without garlic. thank you! |

| No problem! And you're right...the Natures Variety Prairie canned foods do contain garlic. The Natures Variety Instinct (the grain-free line) cans don't seem to have it (at least the ones I looked at) so there are a few more options. My pups have liked both NV and Halo in the past as toppers although I don't feed those as often due to cost. Also the NV is higher in fat than I like to feed compared to other canned foods I feed. But I think they're both good quality |

| Recently noticed wellness had small wet food and it intrigued me- I saw an advertisement without the physical product so I didn't get an ingredients listing. Have you checked that one out yet?

| Okay, as I was typing it occurred to me how silly I was and the ease f looking these things up on the age of the internet- so I did. Natural flavoring always makes me suspect, I suppose that likely means sugar eh? Most of it looked pretty good but um- red peppers in my dog food? That does not sound like what lilah needs to be eating! Lol. Only in one flavor though. Guar gum instead of careegnan but already uses tapioca which seems like it should be a sufficient thickening agent. Honestly at this point my lilah is such a skinny picky eater I am wringing my hands nervously and thinking some of my more traditional feeding concepts (like raw and grain free) may not meet my lil gals needs and my concepts are open to adjustment. Is your fur baby (babies? I neglected to look) a good eater?

| I am pretty sure all of the Wellness that comes in small cans has carrageenan in it. I will recheck. My small can search is due to the fact that small cans are available bpa free. Even some of the plastic containers have bpa. UGH If anyone has researched the bpa issue and knows for a fact that their wet food comes in a bpa free container would love your input too! I know I should just home cook and I may rotate with that, but need something more convenient for traveling. |
