| How much pumpkin daily My new foster guy "Baby" is underweight & had been on a diet of just chicken & cheese. I've been giving him omega 3 oil as a supplement, but he can be a bit picky. He gobbles it right up when I mix it with a bit of canned pumpkin though. I'm wondering how much pumpkin I can give him on a daily basis? I'm thinking a 1/2 teaspoon. Does that sound ok?

| Sounds good to me too. My 3 are on the larger size of 10+ lbs and I gave around a teaspoon but I was trying to increase the fiber in Bogey's diet. When I was giving it to Bogey I added a little warm water to make a gravy.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Yes, that sounds like an okay amount. How wonderful that a healthy thing such as pumpkin/fiber entices your kiddo !

| Thanks for the replies. I was afraid to give too much & cause tummy trouble. That's the last thing he needs lol.
