| Ingredients in Wellness Whitefish & Sweet Potato Kibble We have been feeding Angel Wellness Super5Mix Complete Health whitefish & sweet potato kibble for years. It took a while to find something she would continually eat. When we were at PetSmart recently, we noticed the packaging had changed. It now says Wellness Complete Health Adult. Here is the website: Wellness Whitefish & Sweet Potato Dry Dog Food Recipe. I wasn't sure what else had changed, but luckily, they had 1 bag left of the old packaging, which we bought. When we got home, I compared the old packaging to the website. These are the differences that I found: The new packaging says no GMOs, which is fine. A new ingredient is green tea extract (does not say decaffeinated), which is the last ingredient. Under guaranteed analysis, calcium is now 1.50% instead of 1.20%, and vitamin E is 400 IU/kg (this is a big increase) instead of 150 IU/kg. Are these differences safe and beneficial? Angel is 8 years old and is about 4.0-4.5 pounds. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | As long as it's AAFCO certified, which it is - you can be assured that it's formulated within the dietary needs for dogs...so I wouldn't worry too much. The vit E still isn't all that high when you break it down to per/kg.

| I just noticed that Wellness has now added spearmint extract, which is the last ingredient. Green tea extract is the second last ingredient. Do any of you know if spearmint extract is safe? |
